Add a countdown or subathon timer to your stream
Put a countdown on screen before you start, or run a subathon where every sub, cheer or tip adds time to the clock.
You need: The Multistream app on your PC, OBS
Make a timer in the app
- Open Timer in the sidebar, under Overlays.
- Click Add timer for a plain countdown, or Add subathon timer for one viewers can extend.
- Type a name for it, then set Length in minutes and seconds.
- Type what to show at zero, for example "Starting now!".
- Click Start when you are ready. The clock starts counting down.
Use +1 min and -1 min to nudge the clock while it runs. Pause and Resume stop and continue it.
On a subathon timer, type how many seconds each event adds, like Each sub or resub or Every 100 bits. 0 turns a row off.
Put it on stream
- Under Look, pick a Colour theme, then set Digit size and Digit colour.
- Click Copy on the All timers row, or the copy source button on one timer to show only that one.
- In OBS, click + under Sources, pick Browser, paste the link into URL and click OK.
Switch on Hide a timer once it finishes if you don't want 00:00 left on screen.
On the website
- Keep the Multistream app open on your PC, signed in to the same account.
- Open Timer in the dashboard sidebar, under On stream. You see your timers from the app.
- Click Start, Pause or +1 min from here. The clock on your stream changes right away.
