Multistream tutorials
Short step-by-step tutorials for every part of Multistream: going live, overlays, alerts, the chat bot, your account and more, kept up to date.
Get started and go live
- Get started with Multistream: Make your free account, install the Multistream app on your PC, put your chat on stream and get ready for your first stream.
- Go live on Twitch, YouTube and more at once: Use the Studio on multistream.gg to pick your platforms, connect OBS once and stream to all of them at the same time.
- Multistream from the Multistream app: Send your OBS stream to all your platforms from the Multistream app, through Multistream Cloud or for free straight from your own PC.
- Stream from your phone to every platform: Connect Moblin, IRL Pro or another phone app to Multistream, go live everywhere at once, and keep an eye on it from your phone.
- Connect your Twitch, YouTube and Kick accounts: Sign in to your platform accounts once on the Connections page, so Multistream can add them as platforms, set titles and show chat.
Your stream
- Set one stream title and category on every platform: Type your stream title and pick your game once, and Multistream sets it on Twitch, Kick and YouTube for you, from the website or the app.
- Keep your stream live if OBS or your internet drops: Turn on disconnect protection so your platforms show a BRB screen instead of ending your stream when OBS or your internet cuts out.
- Go live with a video you recorded earlier: Stream a pre-recorded video or music to all your platforms, right now or at a set time, once or every week, without OBS.
- Test your internet speed for streaming: Check your upload speed and ping to Multistream, see the highest OBS bitrate it can carry, and watch what OBS really sends.
- See how each platform did in your last streams: After every stream, see how long each platform was live, whether it dropped, and what went wrong, on the website or in the app.
- See your viewers, chat and followers from every stream: See viewers per platform, chat messages, new followers and your stream schedule, in the Multistream app and on multistream.gg.
On your stream
- Add any Multistream overlay to OBS: Copy an overlay's link from the Multistream app and add it to OBS as a Browser source, so chat, alerts or goals show on your stream.
- Show chat from every platform on your stream: Put one chat box on your stream with messages from Twitch, YouTube, TikTok and Kick together, and style it from the app or the website.
- Add alerts to your stream: Show a pop-up on stream for every follow, sub, gift, cheer, raid and tip from all your platforms, with your own text, sound and picture.
- Show your latest supporters in a list on stream: Add an event list to your stream: the latest follows, subs, gifts, cheers, tips and raids from every platform, newest on top.
- Add a follower or sub goal bar to your stream: Make a goal bar that fills up by itself as people follow, sub, cheer or tip on any platform, and put it on stream in OBS.
- Add a countdown or subathon timer to your stream: Show a starting-soon countdown on stream, or run a subathon timer that grows when viewers sub, cheer, tip or gift.
- Run a poll on stream: Start a chat poll that viewers on every platform can vote in, or a Twitch poll or prediction, and show the results on stream.
- Spin a prize wheel on stream: Fill a prize wheel with your own entries, spin it on stream with sound, and let it land on a winner that viewers can see.
- Show your latest follower, sub and tip on stream: Add text labels to your stream like Latest follow and Latest sub, from every platform, with no text files to set up.
- Make chat emotes fly across your stream: Add an emote wall: every emote your viewers post in chat floats, rains or zooms across your stream, from every platform.
- Show TikTok likes and joins on your stream: Make hearts float up your stream for every TikTok like, and pop a card when someone joins your TikTok live.
- Show rotating info cards on your stream: Use the Carrousel to cycle short messages on stream, like your socials, the current song or your schedule, one after another.
Chat, bot and automation

- Give viewers loyalty points for watching: Reward viewers who chat with points they can check with !points, on every platform, set up in the Multistream app or on the website.
- Have chat read out loud on your stream: Turn on text-to-speech so viewers' messages are spoken on stream, pick free voices and choose who gets read, in the app or on the website.
- Let viewers request songs on Spotify: Connect Spotify so viewers can type !play with a song name and it plays on your stream, with limits you choose. Set up in the app.
