Choose which emails and alerts you get

Multistream can warn you when a platform drops, send a report after each stream, and more. You decide what comes by email and what only pops up on screen.

You need: A Multistream account

On the website

  1. Sign in at multistream.gg and open Notifications in the dashboard's sidebar, under Account.
  2. Under How much should we tell you?, pick Everything, What matters or Only the must-haves. Not sure? What matters is a good start.
  3. To change one kind, use its Email and On screen buttons to switch it on or off.
  4. Click See an example under any kind to see what that email says.
  5. Keep the dashboard open while you stream? Turn on Skip the email if I already saw it, so you don't get an email for alerts you already saw.
  6. Watch the top right: it says All changes saved once your choice is kept.

Stop all optional emails turns off every email you're allowed to turn off.

Emails under Always sent, like sign-in help and payment problems, can't be turned off. They're rare.

Every email has a link at the bottom to stop that kind.

In the app

  1. In the app's sidebar, under App, open Email notifications in the Your Multistream account group.
  2. Not signed in yet? Click Sign in and sign in on the Go live page.
  3. Come back to Email notifications. It's the same page as on the website, so the steps above work here too.
