Read old chat and bring your commands from another bot
Multistream saves the chat of every stream on your PC, from every platform you were live on. You can also bring the chat commands you already made in another bot.
You need: The Multistream app on your PC
Read a past stream's chat
- Open Data in the app's sidebar, under App.
- Find the Chat logs card. It shows how many streams are saved and how much space they take.
- Scroll to Saved streams. Each line is one stream, with its date, time and platforms.
- Click View on the stream you want. Its whole chat opens.
- Type in the search box to find a message or a viewer's name.
- Click the back arrow to return to the list.
A stream you just finished not showing? Click Refresh.
Click Open folder to see the files, or Change location to save new logs somewhere else, like a bigger drive. Old logs stay where they were.
Delete all chat logs asks you to click again before it deletes anything.
Import commands from another bot
- On the same Data page, find Import commands.
- Pick where your commands are now: Nightbot, StreamElements, Streamlabs Cloudbot or Plain text.
- Paste the exported commands into the box. For plain text, write one command per line, like !discord followed by its reply.
- Click Import. A line tells you how many commands came in.
- Open Multistream Bot, then Commands, to see them.
Commands with a name you already have are skipped, so running it twice is safe.
Share a theme, action or scene
- Under Share codes, pick theme, action or scene.
- For an action or a scene, choose which one in the list.
- Click Generate, then copy the code and send it to a friend.
- To use a friend's code, paste it in the box under Import and click Import.
