Save funny moments as quotes viewers can call up with !quote

Quotes are funny or memorable lines from your streams, saved with a number. Viewers bring them back in chat any time with !quote. The app and the website share one list, so a quote added in either place shows in both.

You need: The Multistream app on your PC, or a Multistream account

In the app

  1. Open Tools in the sidebar, then Multistream Bot, then its Quotes page.
  2. Type the line into the Add a quote box and click Add. It joins the list with a number, like #1.
  3. Ask a viewer to type !quote in chat. The bot answers with a random quote and its number.
  4. To add one live, you or a mod types !quote add and the words in chat, for example !quote add I meant to do that.
  5. To remove a quote, click the x at the end of its row in the list.

!quote 12 shows quote number 12. Mods remove one from chat with !quote del 12.

A quote added from chat also notes the game set on your Twitch channel at that moment.

On the website

  1. Open Bot and click Edit on the Quotes card.
  2. Type the line under Add a quote and click Add. It's saved straight away, there's no Save button.
  3. Look under Your quotes: each one shows its number, the game and who added it.
  4. Once you have more than eight, type a word or a number into Find a quote to look one up.
  5. To delete one, click the bin at the end of its row, then click it again to confirm. Click Done to close.

The !quote command is one of the bot's built-in commands. You can rename it or switch it off with the other commands; see Set up your chat bot.

What every setting means

Add a quote
Type a line said on stream here. Keep it short so it reads well in chat.
Add
Saves the quote and gives it the next number, which viewers use with !quote and that number.
Delete quote
The x at the end of each row. It removes that quote for good, and the other quotes keep their numbers.
