Go live on Twitch, YouTube and more at once
You stream once from OBS to Multistream Cloud, and it sends your stream to every platform you pick. Your PC and upload only carry one stream.
You need: A free multistream.gg account, OBS on your computer, Pro to go live on your platforms (setting up and testing are free)
Pick your platforms
- Open the Studio. Until your first stream it shows Let's get you live, a guide in three steps.
- Click Add a platform and pick where you stream, for example Twitch.
- If a sign-in button shows, sign in and allow access: the stream key comes by itself. Otherwise, or if you'd rather, click Paste a stream key instead.
- To paste a key, use Where's the key? to find it on the platform, paste it into Stream key and click Add platform.
- Add the others the same way. Each one shows under Your platforms with a switch to turn it on or off.
- Click Next to go on to OBS.
Your stream key works like a password: anyone who has it can stream to your channel. Never show it on stream.
Connect OBS
- Check that Streaming from says A computer. Using Streamlabs or another app? Click Use another app and pick it: the steps change to match.
- In OBS, click Settings (bottom right), then Stream on the left.
- Set Service to Custom…
- Click Next in the Studio. Copy the server and paste it into Server in OBS.
- Copy your stream key, paste it into Stream Key in OBS and click OK.
Don't have OBS yet? The guide links to the free download.
Check it and go live
- Click Next, then Check my OBS settings.
- Press Start Streaming in OBS. This is a private test: nothing goes to your platforms yet.
- Wait about 10 seconds. It says OBS is set up right, or lists what to change in OBS. Change it and click Check again.
- Click Next: go live.
- Press Start Streaming in OBS, or Go live if your test stream is still running. Your stream shows in the Studio and each platform turns Live.
- Click Finish: hide this guide. Next time, just press Start Streaming in OBS.
Without Pro, the last step offers it. Until then, the settings check lets you test privately as often as you like.
OBS says it couldn't connect? Open the help at the bottom of the Go live step, or run the speed test.
