Spin a prize wheel on stream

A spin wheel is a fun way to pick a prize, a challenge or a game. It appears on stream for the spin, lands on the winner and fades out.

You need: The Multistream app on your PC, OBS

Fill the wheel in the app

  1. Open Wheel in the sidebar, under Overlays.
  2. Click Entry to add a slice, and type what it says. Add at least two.
  3. Raise an entry's Weight to make it more likely to win.
  4. Switch Spin sounds on or off. Under Look, set Wheel size and Text size.
  5. Click Copy on the Wheel overlay row, then in OBS click + under Sources, pick Browser, paste the link into URL and click OK.

Spin it

  1. Click Spin now. The wheel appears on stream and spins.
  2. Watch the message beside the button: it names the entry the wheel lands on.
  3. Wait a moment after the winner shows. The wheel fades out by itself.

The wheel's sound comes from the OBS source, so viewers hear it too.

Pick Shrink to fit under Long labels if your entries are long.

On the website

  1. Sign in to the Multistream app on your PC with the same account.
  2. Open Wheel in the dashboard sidebar, under On stream.
  3. Edit the entries any time, even with the app closed: they're saved to your account.
  4. With the app open, click Spin now. The wheel spins on your stream right away.

With the app closed, your changes are saved to your account and show on your stream as soon as the app opens. The first time, open the app once so your current setup is saved to your account.
