Set one stream title and category on every platform

Instead of opening every platform to change your title and game, you type them once. Viewers see the same up-to-date title wherever they find you.

You need: A Multistream account, Your platforms added (Twitch, Kick, YouTube)

On the website

  1. Open Stream info in the dashboard sidebar, under Stream. You'll see your platforms listed.
  2. Under For every platform, type your stream title in the Title box. The counter shows how many characters you have left.
  3. Search for your game in the Category box and click it in the list.
  4. Under Each platform, leave a platform on Same to use what you typed, pick Custom to give it its own title, or Off to leave it alone.
  5. If a platform says it needs connecting, click its connect button and sign in to that platform.
  6. Click Save stream info. You'll see "Everything is saved" next to the button.

It's set on each platform as it goes live. If you're already live, it changes within a few seconds of saving.

YouTube doesn't let apps set the game. Use Open YouTube Studio to set it there.

Platforms listed under Set on their own sites can't take a title from Multistream: change those on the platform itself.

In the app

  1. Open Stream Info in the app's sidebar, under Tools.
  2. In Title, category and tags, type your title and search for your category.
  3. Add up to 10 Tags if you want them.
  4. Under Apply to, switch on each platform that should get it. If one isn't signed in, click Connections and sign in to it.
  5. To give one platform a different title, switch it to Own title under Per platform and type it.
  6. Click the Apply button (it names your platforms). A line for each platform says whether it was updated.

Under Category, a line for each platform shows what it will get. If one says No close match, click Pick one to choose that platform's own category.

Click Save as preset to keep this title, category and tags. Next time, click Apply next to it under Presets to send it in one click.

Undo edits throws away your changes and loads what your platforms show now.

On Twitch, Create marker under Stream marker marks a moment to find later when you edit your video.
